Hand-poured to order in the Isle of Purbeck, our solid pillar candles are crafted from 100% pure beeswax. They offer a clean, slow burn that naturally purifies your home, releasing a subtle honey scent and a warm, golden glow within the same light spectrum as the sun.
The Benefits of Pure Beeswax Unlike paraffin, beeswax is a renewable resource that is free from harsh chemicals. When burned, it releases negative ions that help to purify the air—making these candles a thoughtful choice for households with children, pets, or those who suffer from asthma and hay fever.
Burn & Care Instructions These pillars are designed to be burned as standalone pieces without a container. For safety, please always place your candle on a level, heat-resistant surface or plate to protect your furniture and catch any natural wax run-off.
Whether used as a home decor centerpiece, a celebratory light, or a natural gift, these pillars bring the essence of the Dorset countryside into any space.

Burn and Care
Burn and Care
The First Burn: Burn for 3–4 hours until the melt pool reaches near the outer edge to establish a melt memory and prevent tunneling.
Wick Care: Trim the cotton wick to 5mm before every lighting to prevent flickering and soot.
"Hug" the Edges: When the flame is extinguished and the wax is still warm and pliable, gently press the top outer edges inward ("hugging") so all wax burns down evenly.
Safe Placement: Always burn on a flat, heat-resistant dish or candle plate away from drafts, pets, and open windows.
Natural "Bloom": A frosty white film on pure beeswax is a natural indicator of 100% purity. Wipe gently with a soft, warm cloth if you prefer a glossy finish.
