Work in progress

Why do I always close my eyes for the picture?🤣. This wax will eventually become your favorite candles.

Woman's best friend

Checking on the bees with Alfie, my crazy Border Collie. Working the hives along the Purbeck coast means dealing with sea wind, shifting seasons, and quiet routine. It takes patience to understand what each colony needs before touching a frame. Having Alfie darting through the grass makes the long days in the apiary complete.

By managing our apiaries in small numbers and prioritizing colony strength through every season, the hives remain healthy and self-sufficient before any honey or cappings wax is harvested.

  •  Colony-First

Beeswax represents immense energy for the hive. I manage colonies with bee health as the priority—harvesting surplus honey and pure cappings wax in small, sustainable batches so the bees remain strong and well-provisioned through every season.

  • A white utility van with its rear doors open and beehives is parked on a grassy lawn in front of a small wooden structure surrounded by dense green trees under a blue sky.

     100% Electric Transport

From moving between coastal apiaries to delivering parcels and workshop supplies around Dorset, all transport is handled using a dedicated zero-emission electric van to keep local operations as clean as the wax we pour.

  • Eco-conscious shipping

Every parcel is packed by hand in my Wareham workshop using exclusively paper-based, recyclable materials. From kraft wrapping to paper parcel tape, your order arrives protected without contributing single-use plastics to landfill.
